I know if you have kids, they have said something that embarrased you. My youngest one is real good for doing it. He talks alot to begin with, and you never know what will come out of his mouth. A few months ago we had an employee that had dentures and he played with them all the time. He was doing it one day in front of my son, and my son quickly told him "You need to stop doing that, because my mom thinks its gross." My oldest son got my husband one Sunday morning during church. He was around three years old then. During a prayer he loudly blurts out "Daddy farted." I think my husband could have crawled under the pew. So how many times have our wonderful little ones gotten you?

I have two children, and my oldest 6 and half and youngest is 18 months old. And you would think that it would be the 6 year old saying things to really make you wanna run the other way, but he's my laid back, quiet type child. He don't really say much out of the way, but his sister... she can get you good. We were out last sunday at Friday's eating and as our food come, and we started eating, things were going good, and out of no where she screams at the top of her lungs... I POOPED, not once but over and over. We get her calmed down, and everyone's sitting around us with grins on there faces (thankfully) and go back to eating... and she again goes nuts, yellling at her Daddy, I tink (stink) I POOPED, and stand up and points her bottom in her dads direction, and she proceeds to stick her hand down her diaper, still saying I pooped, I pooped... Needless to say, everyone that once was grinning, were now sitting there in shock and disgust. We couldn't get our check fast enough, lol.

We had the same problem with my youngest, not with poop but throwing up. We were at one restaurant, and it was so smokey in there and he got real sick to his stomach. I managed to get him outside, literally just out the door. One couple was trying to go in, and decided to go to another restaurant. I tried to explain that he had not ate the food yet, and it was a good place to eat. But I guess you can not blame them. I actually lost my appetite for eating that night to, we just took it home.

More than I can count. I guess the best one was when we had gone to the library. It was the middle of the summer. My daughter's hair was combed into perfect braids. As we stood in line she started scratching the back of her neck to the point that it was turning bright red. I quietly whispered a question in her ear: "Can you stop scratching until we get out of the library and I will look at what is going on then?" She turned around and with the loudest voice possible said, "I am scratching because I have head lice!" Suddenly we were the first in line. People scattered everywhere. So much for sophistication and decorum!

Oh! Whew!
I could remember one time when my sister-in-law told me what her nephew had told everyone in their house that day that they visited. She told me that the nephew said in our local dialect (translated to English) "Mom punched dad and dad said 'huhuhu'!" She said her brother was speechless when they looked at him. Hahahaha!
Another funny time was when our family friend, a well-known congressman here in our area, told my parents that whenever they're out with his grandson, he is really afraid of what could happen, at one time they went to the supermarket and the grandson insisted that he buy him some junk food, when he said no, the boy screamed at the top of his lungs and blurted "Congressman _______ is here and he won't buy me food!!!!!!!!!" Hahahahahaha...

I agree. Kids will say the funnies things. And you just do not always know how to handle but to crawl underneath a chair or table! I have a five year old boy. Pretty well rounded vocabulary and learning more every day.
The fact that my son is so impressionable he will repeat some words that might not be so nice that I had said a while back and at the most inappropriate times he will blurt them out. I feel embarrassed and have to explain things to others.
It is really not that bad though.
As a matter of fact most of the time it can be funny. He has told people to be quiet because they are too loud when I am in the midst of a conversation with someone and sometimes he can be real loud when out in public. I think it is just a faze that children go through and will soon grow out of in time.

Children are really funny sometimes. They are funny because they are kids and yet they bring out something from the reality they see around them.
It's good you brought up this topic. For me, kids do outside what they do at home. Kids are more influenced inside our homes and it is the best way to teach them how to act outside. Actually we don't have to teach them. We can just show them the right manners while at home and for sure people can see it when the kids are outside the house.
