I mean, life's survival of the fittest right? And if there were victims, its their fault now since they let their selves get tricked? Just a thought though.

Life is only 'survival of the fittest' for animals: civilisation and communal existence overrides that with the desire/need to protect the weaker individual for the good of the whole. That's why we have laws and not anarchy.
