Do you remember the film "Indecent Proposal"? In it a man offers a couple a $1 million to sleep with the wife. Lets up rate it for inflation to $5 million. Would you?

That is A LOT of money! But you have to be fair and explain all the circumstances. A real estate broker (her), and an architect (him) fall in love and get married. She finds the perfect spot to build his dream house, and they get loans to finance it. When the recession hits, they stand to lose everything they own, so they go to Vegas to have one shot at winning the money they need. Which is a really stupid idea! After losing at the tables, they are approached by a millionaire who offers them a million dollars for a night with the wife. Though the couple agrees that this is a way out of their financial dilemma, it threatens to destroy their relationship. But so does the fact that they are dirt poor. In their situation yes I would do it because I also have 4 children to consider. And if it destroyed my relationship so be it. At least I knew I had enough money to take care of my kids.

They have to come first of course. But what about your happiness? Personally, whilst the offer is tempting, I don't think that I could do it.

I would let my husband sleep with another woman for $5 million dollars, I'm not sure how he'd feel about it though.

More importantly. How would you feel afterwards?

hmmmm....tough one. I might not be comfortable....but that sure is a lot of money. I guess it's a decision my husband and I would have to think about together. My first instinct, I know, would be 'NO! NEVER!'......but I also know that I've been convinced to do things I don't really like or are comfortable with....but those didn't involve sacrificing my relationship. So, I can't say really....depends on the talk I have with my spouse....and I MIGHT just end up leaving him and taking all the money myself....lol Ok, I'm ready for all the bashing that's going to come my way...considering Indian standards and all:P

hahah...the brickbats will come either ways. Ok, now I'm back to talking terms with my husband and so the answer is a definite NO! and I'll fight my husband if I have to. Well, this frame of mind is till the next argument we have:P

If the guy looks like Robert Redford (circa 20 years ago) I might think about it. Kids college taken care of. Financial security. Hmmm..... If the guy doesn't look so good or smell so nice, I might have to pass. Shallow, shallow Dawn... Ain't nobody gonna ask me anyway. lol

He definitely hasn't aged well NOW but back then I thought he looked pretty decent. I'd really rather have Cary Grant or Gene Kelly circa 1945 though.

Hi ya p1kef1sh NO!!! Let's see how many women say no and guys say yes LOL . I don't think you could think much of your partner if you could do it! I was going to ask you what you would do but I think I know the answer. I also think that it is very easy to say what you think you would do in that situation but what you actually would do is sometimes something very different!! LOL

I don't think, I would. While most of us have to seriously question just how much our own integrity is worth, here is a story of an honorable clerk, Chris Connelly of Rockaway Point, who deliberately refused to sell out his values, not even for $1 million dollars! I don't know that I'd be that cute to have such an offer made *LOL* But if he was hot, it was cash, & I took the guy in for an AIDS test & STD's perhaps. But even 5 mil wouldn't last long now days, one would still have to work after they bought the house of their dreams, home, paid debts ect....

Well ya figure after we buy the estate of our dreams it'll be all gone. No point in doing such a thing if there isn't enough profit *LOL* Hey property taxes & the utilities on a sprawling estate are alot ya know! *LMAO* One can dream of upgrading their lifestyle and then being able to maintain it too!

something that is very mad when done. there are many ways to get money. with sleeping with other people is to get quick money, but after that endure sin. for us Indonesian people, this is very shameful and dishonorable. who do not have a religion.

Although I need the money right now, I don't think I could go through with something like that. I mean it would eventually tear us apart and it would make us have trust issues also. I know it appears I am a prude but I am not..It is a moral thing for me yes, but it is also a self respect thing too..Now if I was drunk I'd probably think differently..but no chance of that so I am safe..and If my husband accepted such a proposal then he be the one on his back not me..lol

As Winston Churchill said when a society lady said that she'd sleep with him for £5,000 but "What do you take me for" when he offered £5. "Madam. We know what you are. It's the price that we have to negotiate". I would have been very surprised if you had answered any differently.

YES, YES 5 million YESES! I would sleep with another man for 5 million, I would let my husband sleep with another woman also for that kind of money. We could pay off our mortgage and all our other bills. Add things to our home we've talked about. Start a business, the possibilities are endless. Any offers? LOL

Of course it would be wonderful if he looked good. But to be honest, the shape we are in right now (found out today hubby is getting laid off) he could be the ugliest man ever. Close my eyes and a a little later hand me the money.
