I hate Nero so don't ask me to use that and Roxio seems to give me problems all the time. Maybe I could update Roxio cause it used to work ok but I really only used it to burn music cd's.
I have a good one to burn my dvd movies but I want a simple program with a few nice features to burn data or music etc. Does anyone know a good one for me?

I love my NTI CD & DVD Maker!

I don't remember when I got it, or how much it was.
I also use the Cucosoft AVI to VCD DVD MPEG converter lite. This one was free at the time.

This sounds like a good one that will do several things simply. I am going to try this and hope it is what I'm looking for. It seems that our most favorite programs are the ones that we accidentally run across and can never fine again and are most times free. Thank you for your help.

I have used Sonic for the last couple of years. Never had a problem with it.

Brasero is a good one for you. It is a freeware. And it runs quickly. It is easy to use. You can burn data and video etc. You can burn ISO images, too. K3B is the best dvd/cd burner program. But it still works in KDE3 which is the old version of K Desktop Environment. Mandriva Linux is helping K3B to update , and soon it will be able to work under KDE4. K3B has many features. And it's also easy and fast. It can check md5.
