My brother had his heart broken

My brother is 17 and he lost his first love because she lives far and her mom wont let them be together how should I comfort him as a big sister without him feeling embarrassed.

How is your brother now? I understand that you care about him, but just tell him that he cans ask your help, advice or just to talk at any time when he will wants. Leave him alone. Sometimes the best doctor for heart broken is a time...
