There can't be many internet users who haven't heard by now of the alleged threat posed by this "Conficker" worm/virus..How concerned are you by it? Have you updated your antivirus? are you planning on keeping your computer offline for April 1st as a precaution?
Thanks for responses!

I am really concerned about it because if these virus will get into your computer then it would really be messy. You can really get knock out by conflicker if the infected computer is located in a network and using servers with workstations of a certain program.

I have what I like to call a slight online addiction so it will be hard for me to avoid the internet tomorrow but just as a precaution I might find something else to do tomorrow simply because I don't trully trust my virus protection program. I don't think my computer will be safe until I stop messing with the free shareware virus protectors and actually get one that I paid for..so it might all just be a hoaax or someone might have been bored enough to put this virus out there but I will find something else to do until the day is over...

Not worried at all. After all I own a pc... lmao. Nah, I'm worried I might have the virus, but I doubt the virus will do any massive damage tomorrow specifically. I've heard it takes info saved to your computer, such as paypal passwords, email, credit card #s and SS #s. Luckily I have none of that saved to my computer.
What I'm interested in though are the viruses started by the Chinese government targeting the Dalai Lama. Pretty low of them, aye? China rubs me the wrong way.
