Anyone worried about the Conficker worm?

I passed on the warning to all I know that have comp. I am concerned since this is my main comp. and my main contact to my family. All anyone can do is make sure your comp is protected against all you can and be careful.

There are so many computer worms and viruses around anymore that if I stopped to worry about all of them I'd have a panic attack. I have good anti-virus software on my computer and I'm careful of where I go. That's all I can do and I refuse to panic over it.

I will have to warm my mom..her laptop has been crashing alot the last two days..She is not a computer whiz at all and she loves surfing the net and goes into every site imaginable and so I will have to check her computer out tomorrow if I get to go over to her house. i've checked my computer twice now in 2 days with 2 different scans that are supposed to look for this new conflicker..........so far, so good........knock on wood.

No, i'm not worried about the Conficker at all. I'm just using my phone to surf the net so i guess my phone won't be infected because i'm not using a Windows operating system. The virus may not function at all. I would be if i'll be using the computer at home because we never know. It it's in the news then it must be big.

I am very concerned and have been informing everyone I know about it that has a computer, I too have been reading about it. I have updated my systems from Microsoft, and ran their safety scanner, as well as Spybot and AntiVir. All scans came back clean, no infections present.

i am worried about the conficker worm...because this is the only pc that i have...is the conficker worm is very powerful virus that can damages all the data in pc...?

yup, but since i dont have credit cards that i use in the internet, im not scared. plus i have good set of anti virus ( i have three simultaneously working) so why worry. they pretty much targeted sites that has to do with credit cards. besides those who made it will not put any attention to steal cheap accounts right?
