Hello marketing friend. I can imagine how embarrassed you felt back then when the guests said that it tasted salty in the first coffee you had made for them. . Well, I have never done so, but I know that you did it by mistake. You were sure to intend to put some sugar, yes? But I think that it is not bad to taste a different kind of coffee. Take care, friend.

Hello marketing friend. Thank you for the best response. I can see that your husband would have a good laugh over it on the spot. It is human for us to sometimes make a silly mistake. Yes? lol. Have a great day, my dear friend.

Yeah marketing, I do feel embarrass to serve guests with cups of coffee with salt added to them instead of sugar. I agree that I would do such ridiculous things as well, especially when doing thing in a hurry. Moreover the salt and sugar look quite similar both in color and feature. Anyway the second cup of coffee served really had proved that you are truly good in preparing coffee. You deserve to have the praise after serving the aromatic coffee. I love coffee very much and I hope I would have chance to taste your wonderful coffee as well, but I love sweet coffee only Wish you all the best and happy posting.

Odd thing to do. You must be thinking of something of someone else. They sometimes complained that the coffee I served is either too sweet or too insipid but I never ever put salt in it, since our salt and other cooking ingredients are far away from our coffee and sugar. So though most of the time I daydream while concocting a coffee it would be really impossible for me to put salt on it, unless I really intend to do so and wants to annoy or get even with someone, still not a pleasant thing to do.

I have heard of this...I don't understand it though. I don't understand..what happenned? you put salt in your coffee? Or they do? Where ddid th eidea to put salt in coffee come from? I want to try this now when I get home. Most people like sweet stuff in their coffee. I have put honey, candy, cream, and sugar in mine before.

I havent ever put salt instead of sugar in the coffee but that is funny... When your in a rush and not thinking straight I would think its very easy to mistake the 2.. Accidents happen and I am sure they all laughed about it and then they enjoyed the second coffee

I could understand you, when i do something quickly,i usually make the same mistakes like you did.But putting some salt in coffee sounds incredible and funny.Maybe the taste is also special and delicious.Because i like the taste that putting salt in the rice porridge which sounds distinctively too.

Hey its funny. It happened to me when I for the first time went to my in laws place and there I was given coffee after meals and I had a nice chat after taking the mug in hand. Waited till it got cold as I don't drink hot stuffs. With the first sip I puked out everything even the meals I had because it had too much of salt in it. Later they only regretted as they have to clean everything. I just laughed at it and said never repeat it else you will have to clean again.

LOL my ex did the opposite to you. We were at a fast food restaurant and he was eating his french fries. He asked me if mine tasted different than usual. I said no, they were fine. He said his didn't taste like fries he had had anywhere else. He said, "They must do something different to the oil here or something. I swear my fries taste sweet." That's when I looked and started laughing so hard I nearly choked on my food... sure enough, he had grabbed a packet of sugar, not salt, and sprinkled it all over his fries.
