The Roads of Life

Life is full of many roads. Sometimes we are traveling along and come to a deadend. This "deadend" could mean the end of a relationship, the end of a job, or many other things. When we hit this so-called deadend, we must make a choice of which way to go next. First we have to reverse until we come back to the intersection, then we have a number of possibilities. Our choices are the possibilities. We make choices everyday but some are more substantial than others. For instance, we make the choice of what we are going to wear, eat for breakfast, or even where we are going for lunch. But at this intersection, our choices may mean that we must start a new job or move to a new city. These choices can be life changing and somewhat stressful. As we make the decision of the road we will follow, we never have the guarantee that it will go on forever. We must always remember there are pot holes and many curves along the way, maybe even a deadend. Life throws us all kinds of things and is rarely ever boring. But when we live it with an open mind then our roads can be full of scenery and great things. The potholes can easily be fixed and the deadends don't seem so bad. Humans are resiliant and are never thrown more than they can handle. So next time you come to the end of a deadend or run over a pothole, just think it could be worse!!! Live life to the fullest, you will definitely gain a lot more from it!!
