For parents - Do you have a favoritism when it comes to your children? Do the children know and is this an issue? Why do you think there is such a thing in the family?
For the children - Are you the favorite one? What are the advantages and the disadvantages? How do you feel about you being the favorite son/daughter? Do you feel bad for your brothers/sisters? How about those children that are not the favorites, how do you feel? How do you overcome this kind of issue in the family? Are there any advantages as well?

Well, as far as my parents are concerned, they treat the three of us equally. They try to give us what we want. No favoritism at all. However, I can say that they rely on me most of the time, because my sibblings are just, well, unreliable. Because of that, I can get what I want easier than my two sibblings, but I won't count that as favoritism at all.

Hi xtine22! Thanks for sharing. Well, I'm glad that there's no favoritism going on in your family. I am the 2nd among the 3 siblings. I have an older brother and younger sister. My dad past away when I was 9 so its natural for my mom to rely on my brother more than me and my sister. We are treated equally as well but there's just some situations where the younger one gets the most. Hehe!

We dont do favorites in our family. My children pick themselves. My oldest daughter perfers me over daddy and my youngest perfers daddy over me. I know my bond with my oldest is a little bit stronger, only for the main fact it was just me and her for the first 15 months. I treat all my children all the same.
