I was once rejected a tuorist visa to US from dubai
my cousins wedding was there and my brother is settled i really wanted to go for a visit
but they said i must have travelled a lot
or atleast show some strong hold in the country of residence
but i really felt bad, not to be able to visit my brother

I applied for a US visa for my HONEYMOON. And I was denied! It was really weird. My husband had a 10 year visa,he's a lawyer with a firm here, I was taking my MBA, I brought all the receipts for the wedding, an invitation and all. And they said they could not see any ties that will bring me back to the Philippines! I felt that what they said was so lame! i mean, c'mon, my ties were right at their faces. more than anything, I felt sad because of the money i spent on the visa. It was hard earned money. That was in 2004. I haven't tried getting one again. I plan to get one with my daughter.

Yup... Mine got rejected once. I was trying from UK to travel to US. I was very eager to go to US and visit the places before going to my home country. But I was not fortunate enough to get the visa stamped.
I was asked to apply from my home country rather.
I lost my interest after that... Now that I'm in my home country, I should give an attemp. :))
