It is highly recommended to change your passwords every some days so as to improve the security features of your account either it is related to your banks or your internet accounts..
but usually people do not have any tendency to change these which makes them more vulnerable to malicious attacks..
So if you do'nt change it regularly, i'll recomend you to change it always..
but you might think that who is gonna do anything to me,
so you never know when any intention rises against you...

I don't change them as often as I should. I forget them. More, I am lazy ... I have a lot of passwords to change !!!
But, I will do that today, because you are right.
Thanks for reminding me. By the way, I received a Bank of America scam this morning and an Alertpay scam last week ...

I have a bad habit, when i change my password, if i did not use that account often, i FORGOT! Then i have start all over again and apply for the password, blah, blah, troublesome. I don't know how many of you can change your password frequently without forgetting it?

whenever you do somethings frequently, you cant forget so easily..
so every time we use to forget our passwords is just because we login to those sites or use our accounts less frequently...
so if frequency is increased then this problem could be solved...

The truth is i never change my password unless i know that someone knows it already. You are right when you said it is advisable to change it regularly. It much more safer for us. But for some people who are like me, who dont have time and patience to change the password always, it is difficult. I only use one or two password for different account of mine. Because if i used different password i always forget some and mixed it up with one another.

I see, I have not done this so far. I have not change my passwords from time to time since I easily forget. I might not be able to access my sites later on. But considering the threat, I think I have to do this. I will just have to place the new passwords somewhere so I can check them if ever I forget. I think you are right, it is really important to be secure and one way to do this is to change the passwords from time to time most especially for the bank accounts.

for ATM's we can do 1 thing can keep 3 sets of password, that won't be difficult..
and as we use for some time, it's not tough to remember even..
and we should know that we also remember our mobile no.s even when we change it..
which is of 10 digits..
and for ATM's it's 4 digit only and even its important also so our mind won't let it forget easily...

You have these options at some sms sites also like 160 by 2 where the server automatically sends you new password after some days..
and then u have to change your password periodically..

Well keeping passowrd safe is a big head-ach. I prefer not to change my passwords until aksed by the websites to do that. I do not have very sharp memory. So I prefer to keep the same password unchanged. I faced a situaion when I changed a password once and forgot latter. I took me 2-3 days to recover the password and for this I have to put many efforts. So better is not to change the passowrd if your memory is not very sharp.

You ca do 1 thing that keep some pairs of passwords and then just flip those b/w some websites...
so it wont be too hard to remember..

i change my password often, or just switch to a different email. i have about 20 different email addresses. i use a different one for each site. it saves on spam and other unwanted emails. but i suggest changing your passwords like once a month if not longer. i have had the same passwords on some accounts since i first made them. just don't forget the new ones if you do change it, or you will find yourself lost, trust me i have many times lol.
