"cecil essentials of medicine" and "cecil medicine"?

As the title, these two books are very similar in title and are all titled with "cecil", what is the relationship between them? They are all published by elsevier but seemed to be written by different authors.The contexts are also very different.I know that the book"cecil medicine" is very famous, but how about the "essential book"? Is their relationship just like father and son?
