Does Your Dog Snore??

My Snoring Dog - Louie was the runt of the litter, but you can never tell by the noise he makes when he sleeps. He snores like a lumberjack and can even wake up other people in the house and there's nothing I can think of to make it even a little less loud.

I have a yellow lab named King Louie and I have never, ever heard a dog snore like he does. It's really loud and if he's in the bedroom and I'm out in the living room he snores so loud it sounds like a freight tran. I have had other dogs but I've never heard one snore anywhere nearly as loud as Louie does. Does anyone else have a dog that does that so loudly, and if you do what can you do about it?

Boy on Top of a Girl - Boy: "Okay, we took off our clothes, I got on the top of you... How long till it starts feeling good?"

Girl: "I don't know, but I've got an headache already..."
Yes, I also have a dog that snores. The dog is a pitbull and his name is Pacman. But I think that they only snores when they are over stress or tired. I observed this scenario when one time I was playing with my dog all day long and when he got time to rest, he suddenly snores. I know that my dog got tired of playing with me. And when it is normal day, he didn't snore anymore just like that instance.

My Lab - My wonderful Lab/chow, and my turtle.
Lab's name-Max
Turtle's name-Buddy
I have a black lab/chow mix and he snores as well. Although his snoring does not bother me (must not be as loud as yours) I found this cool Q&A site that is answering your question (funny, but I think its a lab thing) I hope this helps, it seemed pretty insightful! http://en.allexperts.com/q/Dogs-701/Dog-Snoring-Keeping.htm

With me it is a cat. He has just enough Persian to have a slightly mashed face. It did get better when he began to get over some of his allergies, but today he was just a humming away. I do not know what to do about King Louie, except wonder if he has an infection or if he is overweight.

My dog, Happy, a Schnauzer, snores very loudly. Although it is sometimes comforting to hear what resembles an old man snoring away, it is also just as irritating as the sound of an old man snoring. Ha, ha. He gets so loud that I have to turn the TV up loud in order to hear anything. I doubt there is anything I can do about it other than turning the TV up louder.

My dog, Lord Byron of Red, whom just passed, he snored. So loud. To be honest, it was irritating and kept me awake sometimes. But I miss it now.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog passing away. I would miss mine a lot if I lost him. How long ago did he pass on?

indeed I do. we have two large dogs and one of them snores, whimpers, twitches and growls in her sleep. She will also occassionally roll over on to her squeeky toy and give me a start. I am not sure there is anything to do about it except maybe have the adnoids removed, heh.

I don't have a dog. I have never heard of dogs snoring, I don't know of any of my friends dogs snoring either. It sounds kinda cute though.

My dog snores like that and has since he was a baby. Usually it makes me laugh as it does sound funny to hear him make such a racket. Nothing to do about it unless you feel like waking the dog up.

Mine is a shih tzu. She does snore, but not as loud. Sometimes, she will also make funny sounds in her sleep. Initially, I find it strange, but now I'm more or less got used to it already.

My brother's Rotti, used to snore. Damien could really snore, I think the larger dogs snore more so than the smaller dogs. I have two cats, and they too snore. They do not snore loud, but it is snoring nonetheless. Sometimes at night, I can not tell whether it is my husband or the cat snoring.
