Do you guys try to get loans? If so, what are the requirements? Why's the bank so stringent on the ability for someone to get a loan? I mean, it's crazy that someone cannot get a loan unless he/she has worked 3 years. Sucks.

Last time I got a loan I just needed to show a couple of payslips covering the past three months. Banks do need to be careful about loaning money otherwise they would just end up with more bad debt than they have now, which is a large contributing factor to the current credit crunch.
