Hi, aileen! I think that "The Color Purple" was very sad in many parts in this movie. I wanted to murder Danny Glover for doing Celie and Netty like he did.. It was so sad how he tried to keep the two of them apart.. They were sisters and in the end they were reunited along with the rest of their families. I loved the end of the movie too, when celie got to see all of her children and siblings. This made me cry tears of joy!! Ever time that I watch this movie, it makes me sad. I have never seen "If Only", with Jennifer Love Hewitt. I am pretty sure that this is a nice movie. Jennifer is one of my favorite actresses. I am glad that you liked this movie. I would love to see it someday.

no I haven't seen this movie... But the movie which made me cry a lot rather everyone who watched it is Sadma, a hindi movie starring Kamal Hassan and Sridevi...Here the heroine due to an accident lost her memory and used to think herself a kid of 5 years....The hero transformed her and made her regain her memory by his unconditional love and patience...But at the end when she actually got her memory back, she couldnot identify the hero, and left him forever... It is an intense love story.
