Has anyone fooled you this April Fools' Day?

Aprils first's a day full of joke and pranks. I tried to prepare myself for any joke that can trick me on this day. Did you?
First I received a message on my inbox telling me that a famous boxer in my country died because of car accident. I have the impression that it is just a joke. I was right. The link added on the email gives you a page with an image and the text April Fools' Day.
I thought no one was able to trick me this day. I opened my inbox and found someone replied on my comment in myLot. It was the discussion about a tortoise he/she cannot get out of the fishbowl without breaking the bowl last night. I tried to help but found out today it was just a joke.

Two of my friends fooled me with the same message. The message said that China mobile has a new service if the friend of you adopt you as a pet, if you agreed ,you shoud reply wang. The owner will pay 3 yuan per month to this service.
I replied wang, my friend's reply made me realize that I was fooled.

I tought till evening that no one can fool me till the end of April 1st.
Until my girfriend rings me up, while im in my sleep and she starts talking to me normally. And suddenly she aske me to be on hold and then after a minute she tells me to see outside my window. I ask her for what and she is like i got a suprise for you outside. Someone is standing outside with a gift for you. After a lot of argument i finally get up and i got to window to see no one standing there. Suddenly she starts siging the April Fool song for me. It was a nice experience.

I haven't been fooled yet today! And no one has even tried to fool me! I've been so aware and ready for a joke too! I'm kind of bummed that no one has tried to pull anything on me! Last year one of my favorite websites pulled a pretty good prank where they changed everyone's user icons! It was pretty amusing! Everyone was freaking out thinking their account got hacked. I was hoping they would one up themselves this year, but so far it doesn't look like they've done anything...

Yeah I am part of a writing community online and on the forum someone had said they made a lot of money for the month and I was like WOW!. So I started scrolling down further in the forum discussion and realized that it was a April Fools Joke. I got had for sure. It was funny but I really did believe it for sure. Anyway take care and happy mylotting to you. The day is young so we might get had more than once:)

well my godfather fooled me on the first day of april...haha...it was a phone call and i was fooled by him telling me that congratulation ur going to get married..haha.. i know i'm too young for that but i didnt know that it was already april and i dont know any event in april thats why he told me that it was only a joke because its an April fool..Now i know..^^

yes i was fooled at the mall on april fool's. i had purchased a hat from lids store in the galleria mall in cheektowaga ny.any way the point is my freinds hid the hat i bought and i was tweaking out cuz i just bought this hat and i thoguht i had lost it what a bummeri thought. then the freinds who were with me pulled it out and sayy APRIL FOOLS

I have only talked to me husband today and yes he did get me on a April Fools joke..I was on the computer checking my mail and he told me to hurry and come see something I hadn't heard it all so I went into the front room and he was by the door and motioned for me to come here and hurry that there was a Mommy deer in the yard..This has happened before several time and I love watching them so I rushed to the door and didn't see anything thinking they moved I searched around and then said I didn't see them and she started laughing saying April Fools..

Nobody fooled me, but I did mange to fool my husband. He sent me to the store to pick something up, and I got home and told him they were all out of the item in question (I wish I could remember what the item was right now...I'll probably remember later, something we buy quite often). Anyway, he was upset that they didn't have it. I started laughing, reached into my bag, and gave him the item in question. hahahahaha

Nope, no one has tryed to prank me for april fools day, I'm not really into big pranks dont get me wrong I enjoy a good joke every now and then but not anything to outrageous, I think that some people really get carried away with the types of pranks they play, but as long as its light hearted and harmless Its ok.

You're right. It is fine to make jokes as long as no one's harmed. There are just some other pranks that can really hurt whether physically or emotionally. Embarrassment in front of other people for example. Knowing the limit when joking is still a better attitude.

Wow,i think it's common that some make a april fools on you,ha...I first got a sms from my friend who's study in abroad told me he's on his way to my home,i'm so surprised and then i saw he's online in msn,so i know he's just making a joke.

I must sincerely tell you yes.I was fooled by one of my high school classmates yesterday.He called me and said to me that he was in another city near I worked,He want me to visit after off duty and I promised him that I would come there because we haven't seen each other for 4 years.He said he would send me a message which contained his address in that city.Stupid,I believed him.At that time,I felt cxciting.Until I recieved his message,I knew I was fooled by him.LOL.

Ya I fooled myself. Funny na! what happened that I knew that it was 1st April, so I thought a lot of people will try to fool me. So I was keeping my self over attentive. This created a lot of problem for me. I stop trusting the people on that day and ended up by fooling myself :)

Hello friend,
I did not go out anywhere today so I did not get fooled. I stayed at home the whole day, working on the net and talking to my friends. No one even attempted to fool me today. I was in hostel last year and there we had a real good time fooling people.

I have a forum, which another person is designing for me...the forum deals with a particular pairing in an anime show...she changed the design of the forum, so that it represented another pairing which all of us members really hate... That was her witty, and very successful, idea of fooling us for today.

yeah, i texted my girlfriend to know if she wanted to go to the pool today and she texted me saying " im in the hospital". I Got scared so i called here...and you guys know the rest...she got me. Weeee April Fool´s Day hehehe

Today's my day off of work, so I lucky was able to avoid that. I could only guess as to the craziness that would have ensued at work.
That sounds hilarious though, makes me think of a ship in a bottle....where the ship is alive.
