Welcome to my world! *LOL* What works for us is if the big cleaner (hubby) gets time in the house w/o the kids and then takes care of things.
Otherwise my best advice is to do what you can while they are at school or napping. Or.... if you can get them to bed early everyone goes to bed early & since we need less sleep you get up early and do what you need to get done before they wake.
Good Luck!

it really is hard to get things done with kids around. i have a 1 year old daughter and she used to really bug me whenever i do work. it depends on the child's age. i do work when my daughter is asleep (she takes really long naps in the afternoon) or when she's busy playing. it really depends with each child. i guess we just have to find ways to keep them out whenever we try to do work or you might just need to get some help at home to get things done.

Here's a hint...have you tried telling them that you are busy and not to bother you unless it's urgent?

Then just ignore them. Flat out tell them that you won't be answering or running to them at every beck and call. You're the parent. Set some rules. Punish them if they continue to bother you when you're busy.
