Everyday I marvel at how my cat Mathilda is important to my life. She is quite a character. She shows me the food cupboard every morning after she has jumped on my chest (while I'm still sleeping)and chewed my fingers till they hurt. This is her way of saying 'I'm hungry'. After a hearty breakfast she sets about cleaning her favourite dog 'Buddy'(he is five times larger than she is) and saunters around bullying the other cats. They worship her by the way. At night, she jumps in bed and stretches herself out on her back on my pillow. She is a mass of ginger fluff with a soft curly belly and very chunky (a plus sized kitty). At any rate she puts the smile on my face every morning with her antics and life would not be the same without her. Actually I have many different animals characters at home. They are Buddy, Bear, Alicia, Romeo and Finn - the dogs. Then 'the boys' Gordon, Rickey, Ross and Napoleon as well as Mathilda - the cats. I will tell you all about them sometime. Of course, I love animal stories so any would be welcome.
