Are values learnt at school or home

In childhood days as a student we spend our time equally between school and home. At Home our parents are responsible for the values we learn and at School it's our teachers, but i feel the basic values of life are better picked up at home from our parents whereas horizon of knowledge is broadened at school.

We learn values both from home and from school. Parents are the first teachers, they teach by words and deeds. At school, good teachers should teach the subject matters, but also the values along with. We have here some activities after class, where social volunteers come to give supplementary education on various focuses, including values.

I think both we learn are values from our parents when we are at home.
We learn our values from our teachers when we are in school.
We learn our faith from the Church.
