The moment I stepped out of college, I also steeped out of our household, I realize that after after earning a degree, it would should be good enough for me to stand alone and be on my own. Lucky enough I got a job a few days after my graduation. I got a job that's paying me more than I expected, I live on my own water, food and shelter. Having all these, I sometimes ask myself,is it so mean of me to be staying away from my family, given the fact that they raised me well and provided everything for me back then. So, I thought,ah, the best way to do it is to pay back, later on, I found myself sending my younger brothers to college and leaving a promise, not to stop working and providing for them.

You have a wonderful, caring attitude towards your family which is something you should be very proud of. Some kids go off to live their own lives and never give their family a second thought even though they helped to put them where they are. I know that your family appreciates your dedication.

Its great that you are giving back where you got from. It really is not fair to have someone take care of us until we are capable and then to leave them. You are doing your bit financially which is great, but maybe you need to give a little more emotionally too. I mean, after all, your ties to your family were not only financial right? Go visit your parents more often, spend time with them, let them see how mature you have grown. Im sure they would be priceless gifts for them and the rest of your family.
