GI Endoscopy, I have an appointment and scared!

HI, My Doctor refer me to an Endocrinologist Doctor and might sooner or later I would have to deal with tube getting down to my Upper stomach. My question is, does anyone has any experience about this? and did it hurt? was it comfortable? what did they find in your stomach? was it ULCEL? or something else? IF they found ULCER what action did the Doctor do? Were you in medicine for weeks or so? Please tell me or this thing for I am scared but at the same time I want to feel better. Thanks for sharing your experience.
