Which toys did you regret letting into the house?

My friend's little boy turned five last week and he had a lovely birthday party where he received many gifts one being from a 'kind' soul who thought he might enjoy playing with a drum kit! Nice present, last I heard the parents have resorted to ear plugs! The kid is an early riser too...
Have you ever let toys into your house that you have lived to regret?

Most of the kids and children like to have or take toys at their home, so parents need to get good one for them so then they feel so happy so which one do you prefer for kids my friend?

Even i agree most of the children like doll houses but most of the parents they make wrong decisions to buy wrong toys so it is not good for toys.

I Know! My husband wants to get one, he says my daughter would love it, sure...She is quite happy with the DS, it's him that wants the PlayStation. I said no so now he wants to buy a motorbike, he's worse than a kid!

LOL...
Kids could kill you sometimes with their innocence. And what's more killing is the fact that you cannot even make them understand, so much so that you can only bite your hand for picking that kind of gift! I remember going through a trying time when I gifted my 4 year niece with with a mouth organ with the most bizarre sense of music. I think the instrument was not in tune and sounded like a horrible thing!

Oh Yes, anything musical is usually highly regrettable! Thanks Mimpi!

well i have a nephew who is very naughty and i brought him a chines toy pistol which does in fact though out small round plastic so called bullets for kids and didnt realize how powerful this toy is... I didnt think 1$ toy would be so powerful and he did hit another child with it and he was like crying for quite some time and only then i realized how powerful it was. It can shoo away stray dogs if u aim at them. he did it for fun and the dogs would run away crying. I did regret buying that for him and they were so cheap that when ever he ran out of his bullets he would buy a pack for 10 cents.

Oops! That was probably not the best choice either! So far we have musical instruments and weapons as toys to avoid (LOL) That toy pistol sounds a tad painful...as long as he doesn't seriously hurt himself or others...How are we to know how bad toys can be sometimes? Hopefully he'll get sick of it soon and focus on another toy. Thanks for responding, I appreciate it!

Oh...I'm not sure what moon sand is but anything with the word 'sand' in it doesn't sound good! Thanks for sharing, I bet you are still sweeping up!

I know what you mean! Musical instruments are not usually a parent friendly choice! Thanks for responding!
