I watched the news or show last night. Well, it is rare for me to watch this late night news or shows. And there is this thing about climate change, which I find it quite intriguing. Have you ever noticed that even though it is summer, it is raining. Even when the sun is high, there is rain sometimes. And with this climate change, we tend to get sick or anything.
And now here is my question. Due to climate change, what happens if snow suddenly appeared in our country? What do you think? Impossible or not? I mean anything is possible right? Hahaha.

hello takaishi .. i think every place is going through the same thing. it is without doubt due to global warming. in our country india, i see a lot of change from quite sometime. summers have never been soo hot before. this time the summer is like just ripping the skin of my body . it's unbearable . but sometimes it becomes cloudy unexpectedly and it becomes humid but it wont rain. eveybody is feeling dehydrated. it was also said in the news that people going out have chances to faint due to dehydration. and december it is usually cold and it rains for sometime but the previous december also there was rain but not like the usual one and it was still hot. i hope it rains by may end or june (that is when it usually rains ) . all this change is happening becuase of our carelessness and arrogance. and about falling sick.. i think because of swetaing too much, i got a cough yesterday have a nice day

I also have observed the climate lately and its not that hot being compared to the previous years of summer season. Rainshowers during this summer is fine so that we can't really feel the heat.
I wouldn't be surprised if there will be snow in the Philippines, why?
I can still remember when I was 7 years old, it rained so hard and there were small of pieces of ice from sky. Its commonly called "Hail Storm." Its true.
Me and my older brother collected some pieces of ice and put in a small pail since we love to play in the rain when we were kids.
Hail is a form of precipitation which consists of balls or irregular lumps of ice (hailstones). Hailstones on Earth usually consist mostly of water ice and measure between 5 and 150 millimeters in diameter, with the larger stones coming from severe and dangerous thunderstorms.

I hope it will happen again but I don't have any idea when will that be
If ever that happens again, I will go out in the rain and collect the ice pieces even at my age of 30!

Climate change is to give a lot of influence on human life on earth. Later we can feel directly the impact of climate change. The earth temperature rises, flooding and high waves often occur in many places. It is very difficult to overcome the impact of climate change. However we must not give up trying to reduce the causes of climate change. If you ask wheter the snow can come down in my country? I live in Indonesia which is a tropical country. In theory, in My country there are only two seasons, namely dry season and rainy season. So no snow may appear, unless the miracle happens.

Well, anything can happen right? Hehehe. If your place has two types of season, we also have that. However, due to this climate change anything can happen right?

You're right about the weather changes. One moment it is soooo hot and then the rain would come pouring like today...
I think in the northern part of the Philippines, on the mountains there is a fine misting of snow at the highest mountain there but it is rarely seen. And in Benguet regions, last November and December, a friend told me that they have to cover their crops because there are ice formations over their crops in the morning till noon. And She said it is very cold there lol...
As for snowing on visible parts of Philippines like for example Manila, I don't think know if it is possible... hee hee... maybe but I hope not waaaah. I don't like getting cold... ^_^

climate change doesnt only happen here in our country. other countries also experiencing it now. like those country with snow, they still has snow up to this moment eventhough its spring time already..
there are also instances in the past that some part of the country was said to experience hailstorm or chunk of ice falling.. and that is scary, specially when it hit your head!!
we should really start to save our environment for global warming strikes on us really hard!!

Yah! I guess our environment is causing this climate change. How much percent of oxgen is left in out planet anyway? If it gets any thinner, I think majority will die. I don't want to end up being extinct.

I also have observed about the climate changes this year and its not that hot if you will compare it to the previous years. Its fine there are some rainshowers now and then this summer so that we can't really feel the heat.

Pretty strange indeed that in the middle of summer there is this drizzle that falls every now and then. But I guess such even is really not unusual since I have experience way back when I was young, I remember that also rains in the middle of summer. I could recall that it usually happens during Good Friday after 3pm the climate becomes gloomy and rains heavily but after that everything comes normal again. What I am alarmed is not the rain but the temperature rising to above normal levels. Especially those in the Regions 2 and 3, it usually is extremely hot in these regions. I think every year there is an increase in temperature and that is what worries me a lot because there will come a time that we cannot bear to live a certain temprature.
As for the snow, well maybe that would be a welcome treat for us in the middle of summer. But I think I really don't want a long winter season because I sill want the warmer climate than a cold one.

I also notice that climate change. have you seen the tv documentary of channel 7 about that climate change? It titled Sugo hosted by Richard Gutierrez. The show features our climate changed not only in the Philippines but all over the world. It's show how it could affect our lives and it's really alarming. There are some part of the world that betoo cold and the other part became too hot than their regular climate. Our climate is really changing and it's really alarming.

impossible, i guess..because we are direct to the sun..
anyway, if snow starts falling down my head...it will be so much fun! i guess, no work...hahah..because our jeepneys can't move. and for sure...not everybody can stand the cold. and the street children..how sad it is to let them feel the coldness.
on a lighter note, we can make snowman! and ski...ice skating? wow...sounds exciting...

Yeah your right, due to the climate change sooner or later, our country will see snows and this is bad. For the last years, there are sightings in our country that some places such as Baguio and in Mountain provinces have experiences the rain of snow even blocks of ice. They said that it was due to Global Warming and the Ice from the Artic had been slowly melting.
As for the normal people like us, we are rejoicing that finally we can witness the rain of snow and ice without going to the cold places. But for others, this maybe an indicator that we need to make a move in order to save our planet and from extinction of man kind. If your aware on the global activity that we done last Saturday. This is the Earth's Hour, we all simultaneously switched off our lights in able to reduce the heat and the emission of power plants.

Very impossible to have snow in our country. Centuries have past by but no one experinced snow in this country of ours. And if it happens i dont know if we people can bear the coldness it would bring to us. Even just by these change of climate we tend to be sick. How much more if we exprience snow, i cant image how we can bear it...lol

I really agree with you.I my country, the weather become warmer and warmer ,and the weather is changeable. This may be due to development of our country. I think that it is not intriguing but is a question worthy of careful consideration.

Hello taki, that would be good if there is a snow in our country.. I think its all because of Global warming thats why our climate is abnormal.. Even here in UAE it is raining see as far as I know there is no rain here and not only that 3 days back there is a huge hail storm ( a ice rain size like a mooth balls) happend here which is unusual and it was my first to see such storm. ( dang I have some photos but i dont know how to attached it here)

if you didn't notice, this kind of weather started sometime in 2005. having snow in our country is definitely expected. maybe in two to three years time. further, i heard that we will be having longer cold months since the icebergs are slowly melting affecting humidity. the air passing though this areas brings that cold air... ummm, kinda like that.. the main fact is its getting colder and hotter.

Hm.. I guess a lot of people will get sick due to this weather change. Kinda bit annoying sometimes when weather changes from hot to cold, it makes my head hurt. Hehehe.
I haven't seen any fallen snow yet though.

Right now I believe we experienced climate change. A little while ago it is really hot and sunny but all of a sudden the clouds become darker. The rains poured shorter and heavier then after that the sun come again. We already affected of climate change the typhoon that hits us here in the Philippines is more desctructive than before. Awareness is the best solution to this problem to save the nature and save the earth.

Although our country experience abnormalities on climate and weather seems very hot but sometimes the amount of rainfalls we experience are abnormal too even though its summer time. Although hailstones fall sometimes in different locations of country, I think there will never be experiencing snows like other countries because of our geographical location on the globe. To some point maybe your right there can be no possible in this world also there is no permanent in this world rather than change, yeah what if snow falls, I thinks it cool to play snow and make Elmo or igloo and what place we can go to skate on snow? :D
