ever been on a jeepney accident?

Hello there oyenkai. I thank God that I have not had any experience regarding jeepney accident. I use motorbike instead of jeepney when going out. According to research, the most common reason why there is car accident not just jeepney accident is because of careless and drunk drivers. Blessings!^^

I've never been but I've ride on a jeep that was very cool and fast and have a driver that drives like crazy. For some student here on Sta.Mesa Metro Manila specifically on the Stop and Shop terminal, i know they have ride on a jeep named "TUNGAW". Yeah it drives like hell and if you don't hold on the safety bars you might be transfer on the other side of the jeep. Its so funny to remember the night I went home after the school and ride on it, a fat girl almost transfer on the other side of the jeep as the jeep run very fast and "banks". Absolutely you might be in hell or heaven if the driver make a little mistake on handling the jeep.

I am fortunate not to have been involved in a car accident. I hope and pray not be in an accident.

Luckily I have not and I hope I will never get into one. I have responded to a lot of jeepney accidents considering that I worked with the rescue unit for about 13 years. I think I have seen the worst of it. Sometimes there were occasions that I dream of the victims. It is really sad that a lot of jeepney drivers here in our country are not disciplined and this is the reason a lot of accidents happen. There is also very poor maintenance in their vehicles which usually results to malfunction.

Here in our province most of the vehicle here are tricycle, that's why there is a low number of jeep here which enables for the people to just ride in a tricycle for the reason it is more private than a jeep. Well, i never encounter a jeepney accident with my age now and i am hoping that i will never encounter that because when there is an accident i really feel scared, i do not want to see blood of people and other critical wounds. As i remember last time there was an accident in the television news and the people show his wounds to the camera man and i really fear scared with the bloody wounds that he have shown. I agree with you that in riding a jeep it is not safety because of low safety equipments and other which may cause accident. Well here in the Philippines, as we see in the television in the news, everyday you will notice that there is another accident with vehicle especially with motor bikes. Due to many people who have their own motor bike, the number of accident increases because motor bike is one of the vehicle which is not safety to be ride, for the reason the helment is only their protection, while you were focus with your balance which is half of the attention of your mind is in the balance together with the road, and low number of protection. I think one of the reason why, there is a big number of accident here in our country is because of those driver who were drunk while driving, which is the number one cause of accident. I think the other officials must caught those people who are drunk while driving. Well if that thing will happen a great number of accident will no more to be encounter. I have been to but it's not a major jeepney accident. We were just to enter the SLEX from Susana Exit on our way to Alabang when the jeep we were riding just turn 360deg. Luckily the bus approaching us saw the whole incident and slowed down in order not to crash into us. Nobody got hurt that day except my dad had a bruise on his knee coz he tried to cover me and my brother who was seating next to him.

I have not been into a jeepney accident but I saw one time while passing through Aurora Blvd. The jeep was full of passengers and it was turned over all the way down. I pity the passengers mostly are students from PUP. I don't know the cause of that jeepney accident but its a horrible sight. Rescue was not yet there and don't know how long they responded to that accident.

I too have no experience about it. Although I am a frequent rider of Jeepney. But, I have witnessed one bumping incident when the jeep following the jeepney I was riding bump an old lady crossing road. It was really horrifying to see the accident in action I did witness it first hand and I think the woman that got hit did not survive. I just don't know what happened after that since the jeep I was riding just move on and did not stop at all.

My daughter and i passed by one last saturday... and it was not a good site... aside for that... i created a very slow moving traffice... and an ambulance was needed for those who were hurt... I have never been to a jeepney accident... and i pray to God i never will... especially when i am with my daughter...

Good thing, I haven't. I would not want to see such kind of an accident because I've already seen a very bad and gross accident involving a motor cycle and an owner type jeep. It was bloody.

I hope I won't. Whenever I ride public vehicles I always ask for God's guidance, not only for myself but also for my family's safety.

Luckily, nope. And yes, I also heard of the daily vehicular accidents daily. Well, it was all because of neglect. I just hope that we learned from someone else's mistakes. Rather than waiting to learn from our own.

i still never been in a jeepney accidents ever since and i am very thankful for that,but sometimes i experience when a jeepney had an over break where all passenger will shout and some of them fall in the floor because of the force of that break.

well i have been on one but all of the passengers and i are not hurt. The jeepney suddenly accelerated fast even with a stop and swiped a car. Thankfully the people in the car was not hurt but the bumper of the car is severely damage. One thing i can fully remember from that experience is that i didn't notice that we collided with something its just like stepping on the brakes hard and a sudden stop
