yes, accidentally because we will never do that intentionally.
I did do that today. I don't know how but I was surfing my friend's profile and responding to discussions in which she responded and I responded to a discussion in which I responded two months ago. I am not going to post the link because I feel a little ashamed of myself.
Did you do that in your mylot life?

I hope your answers were still a bit closer in thought with each other or else you'll come out inconsistent! :-D
Anyway, so far, I think I haven't although many times, I doubt especially if the discussion seems familiar and was made many months ago, and has already garnered more than 50 responders.

I almost answered twice too. Good thing I checked. Because when I was about to make that second response, my opinion was entirely different that time around! LOL

I hope I haven't! Most of the time, when the discussions seems familiar, I browse through the pages and I look at the respondent's pictures to see if I will spot my own picture :) There are times when I was right and I HAVE responded to that discussion and there are times when I realize that it's actually new :)
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Interesting! I almost did it a couple of times myself! I wasn't sure whether the MyLot system allowed you to respond twice to the one discussion, obviously it does or is it just for older ones? I wouldn't feel too embarrassed about it; it's an easy mistake to make especially if you get involved in a lot if discussions, I wouldn't worry about it.

Come to think of it, I did post the exact response three times in a row once because there was a problem on MyLot and it was particularly slow. I apologised to the person who started the discussion profusely when I realised, it was a discussion about the paranormal and she thought there were strange forces at work! I had forgotten about that incident until now!

I don't remember any thing like that.
But once I started same discussion twice.
It was really irritating because same discussion with same topic and one got no responses among them.
Even witnessed one of the fellow mylotter responding twice to the discussion and same content.
I think it was also accidentally.

I try not to but if I forget to rate the discussion and then I don't remember posting to it then I might end up having answered a discussion twice. I try and not do that but if it happens it's nothing to be ashamed of it wasn't done purposely..

I did it intentionally once.
I responded to one askng more or less the same question and said I had never done it before then went backa few days later and responded again.
Is your memory fading at such an early age?

I think I haven't do that till now, because I always response my friends' discuss,so I often can remember which I have responsed. However, may be I will do so,because there are so many questions,I often I don't know which I have responsed.
So please take care.

yeah i did it once. but my second post should be for another discussion though and i was a mistake that i posted it on the same discussion. but i explained myself that last post was meant for another discussions and was sorry about it. i think that it is unavoidable sometimes but we also learn by this mistake and so we rarely do that after making a mistake once or bit more. so i am more careful where i post my comment and make sure that i have not responded on that discussion before but if i get to respond on that same discussion it should be a follow up post and not just be the same kind of post.

yeah that was what i exactly what i did that was why i posted it in wrong discussion. but now i avoid that mistake by being more careful but i still use more than one window or tabs. cause it is much faster to find topics.

If we do post by opening many windows then these kind of stuff happens. Once I did do it because I was adding comment to my discussion and other discussion for the same user and I commented opposite of both of them.
Luckiley it was the same user so, she got it understood when she read both of them but she did laugh at me!

Back before I started Rating every discussion as I respond back to them I did. Now I make sure and Rate each discussion I choose to respond back too to keep this from happening, as it used to happen to me all of the time as well.

See the good side of it. you are coming and I am adding comments to it.
As long as you are coming, i will be happy and if you can't come, please give us a reason for that, that would be fine.
Just Like I gave one reason that I might loose contact with mylot for 1 or 2 days!

Hello sanuanu!
Well till today this has not happened to me. But I can't say, mistakes may happen. We are posting many posts a day in mylot. So its naturally possible that we forget what we have written in which post. I can't remember what have I written in in which post now. So when we post after a month, it is sure that we can forget. So if we mistakenly posted twice too, we don't have to feel ashamed. Because mistake happens and if not you are not human being, you are god...
Happy mylotting...Enjoy!!!
