If all money buys is things then it is empty. If you are not challenged to live a good life, to give to others, and to love God, the rest is just empty trash that rusts and erodes over time. I do believe that wealth used for the proper purposes is balance. Not to just give it all away but to aid others in reaching good goals is always a plus.

I think when the person was not rich to begin with and remembers where he/she came from. They are happy.
When you are rich remembering that others have little to nothing, you can make a difference. You can help others easier. That makes life happy.
But lots of rich people are only thinking of themselves and don't realize others have nothing. These people cannot be happy and will never have enough.
Take care.

yeah I do, there will be rich people who arent happy, just like there will be rich people who are happy.
Its personal opinion and very subjective,
tho same could be said for poor people some will be happy and some wont be.
Its down to the individual and one mans happiness isnt somebodies elses idea of happiness.

I guess that depends on how we are defining "rich." Affluence with money does not equate to happiness. All people have problems regardless to what their finances are. It's how they face their problems and their lives in general that dictate how satisfied they are going to be in their lives.

I don't think wealth makes a person happy. The best things to have in life are happiness, good luck and good health. None of those things cost money. Students can have happy times which they really enjoy.
A person with an unlimited budget could travel to anywhere he or she wanted to. The places would less pleasant due to all the other places seen. Nowhere would seem all that special. Friends and family wouldn't know which gift to buy. The person would have every material possession that he or she wanted.
A less wealthy person could have happiness more easily with common past times. There is pleasure in saving up for something I believe. It makes that something more special and wanted.

that a phrase, much higher you are, much lonelier you are..
i think rich people is most unhappy person in the world despite of great fortune they own because they have nobody to trust..
everybody that want to befriend them, have their own evil intention like want fast fame and easy money..for example,Britney and Paris..they don't have any real friend..

Some rich people are happy but most are seld distructive I notice. I also have noticed they are always followed by the press and nothing is sacred. Their relationships last like changing underwear as well.
I would not mind being secretly wealthy but I doubt that could happen. I am content with my life now away from the spotlight and drama. I live comfortably and that works for us.
