Just got my 100th feedback and my star changed colot, whatever that means!!! I dont feel any deffirence. Except that I feel amazed that I have sold over 100 of items with 100% feedback. It would be nice if they all give me something in return, like lower saome insertion fees or something like that hehehe... anybody here can share their stars colors?

Mine turned turquoise awhile back and it still is. I have a little over 250 now. It is taking forever to get to the next color, it is at 500 and I think it is purple. They do give you lower fees if you are a power seller. I'm not but I hope to be some day.

I know it will be for a long time that this start will change again. But I dont care as long as I am 100% positive its fine wit me. color only shows how many items you sold but feedback is about the satisfied costumer. Dont worry you will be. I think you need to put more item every month and sold more every month to become a power seller?

As far as I know you have to sell $1,000 worth of merchandise for three months in a row (unless they have changed this). Which to me is really hard! I came close one month I sold $850 dollars, but then the next only sold around $450. I guess if you sell a lot of expensive items it will be easier to reach. Most of the things I sell are around $30 a piece.
Yeah feedback is very important mine is also 100%.

I have the red star (1,000 - 4,999) I'm at 1124 feedback. If you maintain $1,000 per month you become a power seller. Now thats where the savings begin. No more paying for pics (savings $0.35 per listing)You can also list BIN for $0.35 for 30 day no matter how many you have. You can also earn Power seller discount on items you've sold. Good luck reaching your STARS!

Congratz! Mine's turquoise too like from forever ago and i recently just got tired of selling on ebay. Nobody bids on any item unless they're super cheap. That's understandable though considering the current economy but I don't feel like selling on ebay anymore because of the obvious unfairness that's been going on between sellers and Paypal's policy. To see my star turn to purple one day would be cool though cause purple is my fave color but I think i will just buy from ebay cause I got to admit there's plenty of items there that are a lot cheaper than what other websites sell them for. It's also cool that I find items there that are completely sold out in dept. stores. With selling the insertion fees is a killer especially when your item don't get sold.

Thanks! Yes you are right. With all the insertion fees and other fees for seller it is some times hard to sell cheaper because you have to make sure that you cover every fees before you can make a little profit. I am trying to expand my horizon like open a free online store and sell locally but unfotunately and sad to say that ebay has still the biggest market place there is. I have 2 sell at my free online store and few more locally but I got much more sale in ebay. will, good luck to us.
