If you are into writing an article a novel a book or just about anything do you make a specific time on which to write or you can write anytime, do you find it easy to write instantly even if you are not in the mood of you can only write something if you feel like it. can you suggest anything to me how to be motivated to write anytime coz for me I only write when I feel like and I really want to improve myself on this area...

It depends. Sometimes if I have a project to work on I can give myself a specific time and be able to work on it every day. Sometimes I'm just in the mood to write. If you have a project you want to finish, but don't feel like writing... the best thing to do is really just to force yourself. Even if it's bad. You can edit something bad, but you cannot edit a blank page.

I was once like you were drdivu but wanted to learn more and wanted to be motivated and not forced into writing so by writing always this would be easier for me to write just about anything and hopefully anytime.

Well, for me when it comes to Writing, I find when I am in the mood to Write I can write quite a bit, but if I am not I find it hard to write about things for sure. I have never been one of those who can Write just to write and not care about the quality etc. as well. It would be nice, but then I probably would not be very Happy with myself as well.

i dont write as much as i used to but i once read an account of a fellow who got up an hour earlier before he went to work just to write. when i was working on my book, i used to set aside every friday to write for it. (i wrote the other days for other people). you have to carve out time for yourself.

It depends on the time. There are times that I have an easier time writing than other moments. I think that it just depends on the time in question, the time of day, and such.

I like to write at night right before bed, maybe an hour before. For me it has been the easiest to do and then the ideas flow. When I get inspiration when I am in the car or shopping, I write it down quickly. I guess the best way would find a quit spot to write and gather your thoughts... I like to write after listening to a song, watching a movie or reading part of a book..

When it comes to writing fiction, I really can only do that when I am in the mood. As for nonfiction, I have begun writing every day, and so now I can write one or two (or more, if I have to) nonfiction articles every day. The key is to get into the habit. Then, it will be easier to write even when you don't really feel like it. I still struggle sometimes, but generally since I have gotten into this pattern, things flow better. There is no "right" answer to this, except that if you want to write more, you need to train yourself. Some writers are sporadic, some write to particular schedules. I don't have a set time, but it generally falls into two times a day that work best for me. It's better when you don't fight with yourself, but go with what works naturally. Good luck with your writing!

I also like to write but I need to get a mood for that. What I used to do is I go to a park so that I can relax and make my mind wander my imaginations. You can also try it

I do write every day, but some days I write a lot and others I only write a little. On days when I find it difficult I don't try to force myself to write more, unless I have a deadline to meet that means I must complete it that day. If I'm tired or unmotivated it does not really help to stick at it. I often find if I leave a piece overnight and return to it next day I can work on it more easily and complete it to my satisfaction.

Well I dont sit and write by choosing a specific time of the day but when I indulge myself into writing i would do it when I belive that I wont be disturbed or interrupted. IF you want to write about something I think you have to keep thinking on the subject and as soon as an idea or a plot flashes jot it down ina piece of paper, later maybe you can fair it up. Btw what are you writing about?

It's about discipline. If you sit down to write, then write. If you do this often enough your mind will recognize that it's time to switch on and the writing will pour out on command.

I am almost like you. I want to finish my novel but I haven't had the motivation or time for it. I do sell articles and sometimes just have to buckle down and make myself write even when I dont have any desire to do so. The bad thing is that being a writer full-time is my dream but because of my crazy life-style right now I can't write like I want too. If you find out how to get over this, let me know as well...lol.

If you like to write, well you write it! even though your not in the mood or feel when you like it..The most important for us is to make our goal to be reached even if you don't like or you like it.I have suggests for you, you should make your owned time management system and make your owned decision so that your activities, your career objectives ,goal and etc. are to be successful when reached it.And you must develop your self-esteem and always remember in your mind that you must have always motivated everyday thats why you make yourself be improved and satisfied with your life.

Anytime is usually good for me. Unless I'm burnt out, stuck, or procastinating. I can usually recreate "moods"...through music, the occasional show, ideas from people I know, or to spend some time just thinking about the feel I'm going for. Motivation? It's just that you gotta want to do it. If you've a deadline..well, I'd hope that the deadline itself would be good enough motivation. I wouldn't know, though, I don't often do things under time constrictions.
