Well maybe Grandpa Bob & the beanstalk is mor like it. This shot is one of a few beans I've started from seed sprouting already after just a few days. I started green and yellow garden beans. I did not mark any of the seeds so I have no idea what is what. But these have the large bean casings so I know it's the beans.
Do you have any seeds sprouting yet for your garden this spring/summer?

I don't even have any seeds in Grandpa Bob. I am in such a mess this year - but better than last! My veg patch is overgrown, but I have started work on a new herb garden. I've had to clear brambles, a holly tree and an evergreen hop. Now I need to dig the soil over, condition it and get planting! I shall put a tube of peas in a piece of gutter to start. I find that's the easiest way to get 'em going. Your bean shoot looks good. Not knowing its colour is half the fun.

I don't have any veggies growing, but all of my perennials are looking good. My clematis, which normally flowers twice a year, flowered three times last year. I'm hoping for a repeat of that since it looks like another warm day or two will see flowers on it.

Yep my beans and peas are sprouted and the rain has really got them growing. My tators are lookin good. The dog dug up my radishes again and is henceforth banned from the backyard till I can put in an electric underground fence around the garden. I just put out 5 heirloom tomato plants today and have 12 more to find a place for (yeah I got carried away). I ma going to post pics as soon as the infernal rain stops.

I'd plant the cat and see if it grew into anything.

My dog does failry well running through the garden.
Well he doesw love the area where the strawberries
are. This year I am erecting a barrier of some kind
though to keep him out as he tramples them too easily.

I'll learn from your mistakes and color code my seedlings and my garden!
My flowering pear trees are beginning to bloom, they are so pretty! I can't wait to put things in the ground!

I don't have space in my house to start plants from seeds. Perhaps next month, if the temperatures are moderate enough I can start some seedlings and keep them on the enclosed porch. That way I can get a head start on the plants I hope to have in my garden. If not, I will purchase a few from a local grower.

No beans here. I don't have a green thumb. Seems that you do. Maybe you might let me borrow it? I just never developed the talent I guess.

We haven't even started anything yet..haha. My husband said he wants to grow peppers this year, and I want to at least grow tomatoes, they're getting so expensive in the store.

i have planted some seeds yesterday. i have scattered the seeds on the soil at the side of my house. there is some small portion a very small portion of soil there. hopefully it will sprout and grow soon. cause it is summer now the time when this seed grows fastest and bear more fruits.

Wow! where did that came from. how long did it take you to make it grow. must be nice that something like this happens, makes your hard work worth while. well, we don't have time to start planting these season because of work and our previous plants. It's really hard to make plants grow or even seeds.

No, Grandpa Bob! Every time I plan to spend the day doing gardening something happens. I went to plan it one day then *Boom* rain! The next time *Boom* Snow! So, I am wanting to do it this weekend so I hope it will work and the weather will let me! If not I am about to go get a bunch of dirt and fertilizer and fill my tub and plan in my bathroom. LOL I will have to share the kids bathroom then!
