Do men really need to shave their armpits?

I have a friend who owns a Spa. I noticed that there were quite a few men who came into the Spa and had their armpits and back waxed.
Back wax is okay to me but armpits waxed? Hmm...it's odd to see that. For ladies, waxing their armpits is a normal thing to do.
Do you think we should wax our armpits?

I guess it all boils down to personal hygiene and preferences,
I personally dont wax my pits lol, but I do trim them if am going to swimming baths or on holiday as find a big hairy mass under ones pits minging lol,
Some men shave their legs chests private parts theres no difference in shaving or waxing your pits, it comes down to personal choice.
And I for one think whatever makes you happy and feeling more confident is to be encoraged.
I used to referee rugby league to a decent level when I was younger and I used to shave my legs as the linament oil and heat rub used to have more of an effect.
I dont now, but again its personal choice.

Trimming down the bush on the pits is okay and sometimes when you go to the beach, if you wear men's swim brief, trimming around the surrounding area is not a bad idea either but shaving the legs, hmm...it is rare to see that with a man.
Thanks for your participation in this topic.

Oh my, that sounds painful.
I shave my armpits, no wax on me!
The only place I don't want a man to shave is on his chest.
A real man has hair on his chest.
I think so.
Take care.
