Why did my star rating go down?

2 days back my star rating was a 10 i.e. the star above my name said 10. I started 3 discussions since then and non of them have been removed by Mylot. I always thought the star rating had something to do with the number of discussions started.
Now my star rating says 9 which is 1 down from before. Can anyone explain why this is so?

mine is going down too. i really don't why or what did i do. but i feel that it goes down everyday. i don't even remember violating the TOS. i hope i'll get my ratings back sooner. im trying my hardest, i swear. anyway happy mylotting!

I guess we should not worry about the star rating as apparently it does not really affect our earnings.
