Did you make mistakes when you started or responded a discussion?

I always make mistakes when I started or responded a discussion because my English isn't proficient.Sometimes the spelling was wrong,sometimes the grammar was inaccurate.Even sometimes I didn't know I had made a mistake.after I find the mistakes,I feel embarrassing.You may laugh at me.But I haven't lost my confidence in mylot and I will continue to work hard here.LOL.
What about you??Did you make mistakes?

You're doing very well for someone whose first language is not English. We all make mistakes, that is part of the learning curve. Sometimes I will type out longer items in word and then copy and paste them. That way I can make sure that my grammar and spelling are ok. I wouldn't be embarrassed though by mistakes. If anyone ever gets upset at you for your mistakes, they have obviously forgotten what it was like to learn a language.

Thank you for your praise.I think many people here have made mistakes.But we can't lose confidence and try our best to do better.There aren't any people upset me.They just pointed out my mistakes and I accept their rectifications.I'm happy with that.It let me improve.Have a good time.

Since the very first day I was a Mylotter, I have incurred so many grammar and spelling mistakes. That is because I don't do any editing after typing my responses. I am not good also in english and I'm no english critic either, but I can express all my thoughts in english satisfactorily. I don't feel bad or something just a bit sad at times but that is ok, all of us have some mistakes in life too, even those fluent in english had there share of mistakes. Practicing and trying to express all your thoughts in english can greatly improve your vocabulary. I do read some topics here and the responses to my discussions I read them outloud so I can teach my tongue and my brain how to pronouce the words well, and retain these words to my vocabulary. We should not loose confidence about it, infact we should be more challenged by it, and try even harder so we can perfect out grammar and spelling. As they say nobody is perfect. Try to respond in a more detailed way and state all descriptions you can have to organize a more detailed response. As they say practice makes perfect, keep it up and happy mylotting.

You're right,sometimes I'm afraid to make mistakes so that I response a little words.Just like you said"pratice make perfect".I have to think twice before I post my comment or answer,so it will take me a long time start or response a discussion.I should tell myself never be afraid of making mistakes,then I would be less embarrassing.Just do what you like and express all your thoughts on it.LOL,Don't take the mistakes seriously,if you make mistakes just rectify them is ok.Thank you for your encouragement.Have fun.

I think all of us here have made mistakes. Typos are very coomon then the grammar. If your English is not OK, then what about me. You have written perfectly and no one will laugh, they smile with appreciation.
One of the best plus with Mylot is, here you can learn good English besides the enhanced typing speed.
