Do you get intimidated if your gf/bf is more successful than you?

For me it's a factor but I wouldn't say it's a big deal. Anyway I'll make sure that I'll catch up with her, it's just time I needed. As long that she could accept me for what I am is enough.Sometime what love can do. It's a big challenge I know! Have a nice day to all of you!

I won't feel intimidated. Sometimes I hope my bf is more successful than me. I think love is most important beween our relationship. No matter who is more successful, we can help each other to improve. Right? Ah...
Sometimes the inmidation comes from ourselves not the gf/bf. If he/she is better than us, I think we can try to catch up with him/her. We love each other, so we come together. Love is in the first postion, not the inmidation or who is more successful...

I like your response. Yes it is true what is important is the love the strength for you and your partner. It is not the riches of the word that is important it's making life together. Helping each other anyway it's for both of you for your future children. Anyway have a nice day to you!

yes, in some way, but i don't let it come to my consciousness. i rather don't want to think about it as a big deal.
she knows what must and must not be done/said to neutralize such situations, she knows were to put herself and me as well.
it is also a challenge for me to surpass whatever she had already accomplished.

Same here with me rymebristol, it's not a big deal, but a challenge. As long that we love each other through the years and the strength of our love is more for each other that counts. It's what we accomplished in our relationship that is very important to us. Anyway have a nice day to you!

NO, I wouldn't feel intimidated!!! If you love her, you should be HAPPY for her success. If she looks down on you because she is more successful than you...you need a new girlfriend, but still shouldn't feel intimidated!!! Your desire to catch up should NOT be due to intimidation, but due to your desire to succeed!!! My career was much more successful than my hubby. It bothered him but I thought nothing of it. I loved him for WHO he was NOT for what he was!!!

Hi LadyMarissa, sometimes I feel awkward with my feelings cause she's too good. But when I feel this way she gives me a big hug and tells me hey it's for us, and I love you so much. My heart melts that is why I am working really hard cause it's for our future. Have a nice day to you!
