How many of us are always willing to help our friends who are in need? Do we really go out of our way to help them or just leave them to fend for themselves? Is really a friend in need a friend indeed these days? Your take and experiences would be welcome.

Offcourse...it is true...though all ideal things are not alwaz available.I have alwaz tried to keep dis principle in real life n have helped my friends in need wenever possible.Though if things get out of control..like if my frnd depends solely on me for a particular matter or im getting too much involved..i try to move away..as a true frnd will alwaz show his frnd to face problems not to run awat from them.
Also..this principle has also teached me to judge fake frnds from real ones.So indeed..this saying is true.

A friend in need is a friend indeed is always true. After all if you can't get help from a friend in time how can he become a friend.
