I am using Windows operating system for many years and i have an idea about the installation and trouble shooting. I want to create my operating system backup,i tried different softwares to create a backup. They all show the options to create backup of entire hard disk i.e drive C,drive D e.t.c. I want to create the backup of only operating system,instead of installing from the first i want to just copy it from my backup DVD as XP takes 1.25GB for the OS to install. Is there any way to create only backup of only OS and it may boot from CD/DVD. As the installation takes nearly 1 hour so for copying a DVD it takes only 15 minutes. If you know the software which creates a boot able backup please inform to me.
