still life or ashes of time?(?????????)

yes ,these two is chinese film. firt for P.R.C, second from HK. but we can conclude that they are all about time and life. CONFUCIUS said time runs like water,life is short . so is a still life short or long? i am puzzled . these two is our treasured by slipped from our hands

I have watched the second,yeah,i like what Confucius said,time runs like water,and i thought life is short,we must cherish the time in our life.I always have the same question,what would my life be?time is sands also,however you hold tightly,it has gone.Now i get a little about it, you should keep a quiet heart in you life,it means still,calm down and try your best to realize your wishes if possible,of course,in the end everything would be null,but you have had the good time ever,and do your best,nothing to regret,it is the life..
