The only American Idol who was not given a chance to sing for HER dream...

I really love Megan. Actually, I was really sad when I found out that she is already out of the competition. But I think Megan really needs to contemplate on what she did last wednesday. Happy MyLotting!

I don't even understand why the judges don't seem to like her.. For me, her voice is very unique... and i kinda like how she does her own rendition of every song she sings...

Well, I thought that she would go last week. She is a little corny in her stage performances and I just don't see that she is making any improvements in her performances. I see the same thing week after week and she was starting to get really irratating. I don't think that her comment helped her any but the judges had already said that there was only one out of the three that they would possibly save and I believe that would have been Allison. Megan just wowed them in the auditions and she done okay in Hollywood and yet it seems as though she just hasn't cared much about her song choices and stuff since then. I,personally, was glad to see her go as I have never been a fan of hers. She couldn't compete on the same level as Adam,Danny, etc.

Where I did not too much care for her song this week, I really do like her voice. She is herself and very original. And I agree that the judges are there to do just that, judge them. But Simon does go a little beyond this with how deep his critisism is sometimes and he can dish it out but never take it. She said what was on her mind just like he does at the end of every performance and she was happy with herself. She should have had a fair chance like everyone else. But I do also have to say that where I did like her voice, she was not in my favorites list. It would be great if they could pick from any of their past performances for their final song to try to win that extra chance but I think this would make things too hard for them as they do not know themselves who whis is and so the band may not be ready to go with any week. Sometimes they don't use the whole band and stuff and they may not be prepared for this. Just a thought.

Well I don't know if I really even get the whole "Save" yourself thing. I mean why do the contestants have to sing the same song that got them in the bottom in the first place? I think they should be able to pick any previous performance. As for Megan I was a fan at first, but it wore off quick when I realized she was not very versatile. Some of the other contestants have an amazing range and I think it was her time to go. If she was going to sing the same song "Turn Your Lights Down Low" (I love this song), which she butchered terribly than NO I would not want to hear her try to get "Saved". If she could've sung another song than ok, maybe the country song the judges liked so much. I don't think the fact that she said "I don't care" about Simon's comments should have factored into her getting a chance at being saved.

i'm not a fan of megan, everytime she sings she annoys me. this is just my opinion guys. she can sing but it's boring to me.

All i can say is that, she has got responsible for what she had said.. IN any case, simon is always known for his harsh critics on contestant.. So in this case here, i believe he's doing what he's normally doing ^_^ ANd since the contestant already said, she dun care, so why should the others 'save' her when her ego is bigger than that of a star?? I must say, she deserved it.. haha =D

I didn't think she had a chance to win the competition. For me, if I were a judge, that would be the only reason I'd give the person the chance. Otherwise, why give them false hope?

Well, I think Simon, wanted to cut to the chase, and not give Megan false hope. For one thing, i didn't think Megan was that good anyway. The remark she made to Simon was not called for. Everyone knows how Simon is, and usually takes it in stride. I think they are waiting to use the save option, for someone who really have a chance at becoming American Idol, but who may have fallen short that particular week.

I thought Megan should have gone off 3 weeks ago. She has a pleasant voice on some songs but she consistently chose songs that didn't suit her & she had NO stage presence. And then when she showed her total disrespect to the judges, I knew they wouldn't save her. They only get ONE save for the season & I'm sure they're saving it for one of the really good singers. I'm torn, I like Matt...especially when he sings the Blues. I think Kris is the most improved. And Adam really rocks!!! I think Adam is a natural performer & will probably win, but Kris has learned the most & has a lot of potential. This year there were a lot of worthy performers. I firmly believe that the losers will be offered contracts by some smart executive at a record company. Lil Rounds has a glorious voice but the judges seem to constantly berate her. I can see Barry Gordy bringing her along as the next Diana Ross. The young girl (forget her name) has a beautiful voice; but for whatever reason, I just don't like her. Simon NEVER compliments anyone & he has told Adam 3 times You could win this thing. Adam received a standing ovation from Smokey Robinson for Gods sake. He makes every woman in America knees go weak (or atleast mine get mushy!!!)

Whatever, she's sooooo boring...and she doesn't pick the right songs!! It's so0o0o tired listening and watching her try to dance. Her dance moves are gnarley to me. Grr...grossssss...She was the one that opened her big mouth, why would you do that? STUPID MOVE.

First i hate the judges the premise is stupid, it only goes to top 5 and they used Daughtry as example and he left at four. He was railroaded but Simon was not going to let her think she had a shot if she did not, that is refreshing but harsh. If you saw the after show on the Fox Reality channel yesterday the judges were pumping her up right after the telecast.

I think Megan thought she was in no way going home until Simon said goodbye to her. Maybe she was tired of not being with her little boy, but she knew from the start that if she made it that would happen. I think she acted really weird from the start of the evening. I haven't liked her for a while. I did when I first saw her, but her attitude is wrong. Bye Bye birdie.

And I think she is overacting, i don't know, even the way she performs or dance if you call that dance, she got nice voice that's for sure, it's just the way she acts.I'm glad she was not saved.

I think Megan will still do well after they all go on tour. I liked her at first but the last two songs she sung. I wasn't crazy about. I have to agree Simon was rude to her. I guess he was just repling to hear comment of saying that she didn't care. I think she will still do well later on once she gets signed up to sing on the raido.

Good day.. I think when your chance of a lifetime hangs on the hands of others., you wouldn't irate them by saying you don't care. I mean by saying that you're digging your own grave. Judges in the american idol are there to help even sometimes their criticisms are harsh that's their privilege but one thing is more important than that and that is their power to give second chances and contestants like megan joy should look more into that than their criticisms. Saying what megan joy had said wouldn't benefit her that gift.

i did think she sang all that good, they should have kept the other girl i cant remember her name she was the cute blond but with her saying she dont care then why should they for real. the music business they are very picky about things,

I think when the judges are giving comments about the performance, the contestants should just shut their mouth. They should be humble and accept all the critisms and just learn from them. Because in the end it will just irritate the viewers...what more the judges, right? When Megan said that SHE DIDN'T CARE..of course, anyone would be pissed off. She should have been more careful.

i saw this episode and i feel sad for her laving the american idol stage. but its the viewers decision thats why she is in the bottom three, and her strong attitude will not likely succeed in this kind of business. simon is only giving his opinion and advise to her, she should have respect that. after all she is the contestant and not one of the judges.. hehehe my final word will be :goodluck in her future career!! LOL

I really DO NOT LIKE Megan. Even from her audition, I never really understood her singing style. I don't get it. But I know other people do so I apologize to Megan fans. I think that yes, after saying that she didn't care, she really did not need that second chance. Saying you don't care (especially to a judge--someone who is supposed to help you) is like saying you don't want to be there and you are just aching to leave and probably are wondering to yourself why the heck you are there. Maybe I'm already being mean, but yes, saying you "don't care" to something millions of people would "die" for ( a slot in the top 9) is really...UGH.
