why we love

have you ever asked yer self why we love someone? others told me -also my mom, that to find a guy who'd take good care of you and to comfort you, to love and to defend you. but! before all of that, to be specific.. why do we really find love? i just had this thought on my mind when.. i was being asked by a boyfriend to do.. something really matured, and since i think, im still young, ..i didn't. then he asked me if i loved him or not. (why would he ask that?) as what you do/dnt expect, i don't gve an answer.
and when i got home, its still that on my mind. if i agreed on what he wanted. there would only be two things: 1. maybe our relation would go deeper and 2. he wont mind losing me cause he's done. Well, i do believe he loved me. but it's not just that. (oh, im such a retard) what would be the best thing to do.. urghh!*sigh*

Well Madposas, what you did was the right thing, to deny him. The reason I'm saying this is because if he posed the question of whether you loved him or not just because you didn't want to do something like "that", then I'm sorry to say, but that's not really love. It's just either a crush or just hanging out to...yeah. I know it sounds really filthy, and it is.
Just know that, love doesn't mean doing those kinds of things.
Love is really hard to explain, if he loved you, he would've simply said "No problem" with a smile, he wouldn't have asked you whether you loved him or not. I hope you understand what I'm saying?
Don't rush into these things, because people most often mistake crushes for love, but trust me Madposas, when you find love, true love, you'll know that it is love and you won't be unsure :)
