You cant talk to the person who sits next to you unless both of you are talkative.lol You are not in the mood of listening to music, the program on the TV is not your cup of tea.So what else can you do then? You finally get tired of looking out of the window.I dont like reading on the bus,its not comfortable. At last,I listened to radio after I slept for a while. So what do you do under this situation?

Well i would probably try fall asleep to pass the time and if there nothing else to do but be bored. The only thing i wouldn't want would be to miss my bus stop if i fell asleep though, so i normally just deal with it, ive never been on a bus for that long though and i don't think i ever will, but the longest time ive ever been on a bus for is an hour or an hour and a half.

maybe i will sleep.lol...
if i take the bus with my friend,i will let him sing for me.no matter how bad he sings.lol...
if there is no one with me,i will telephone my friend.
if there is no impact on others,we will have a long-time chat.
it is a good way of time-consuming...

You may have a hard time reading if there isnt enough light in the bus.Besides, for me,its not comfortable to read while the bus is moving.

when i do long distance traveling, i make sure i brought my music gadget with me. i don't like reading when traveling as well, i can't concentrate. i'd rather watch the scenery we passed by while listening to music. i've done this so many times when i was still in college becuase it's as if i own my time. but now that i'm working, it's so hard to get a time off from work.

play games with my psp, watch movies on my phone, clean the inbox of my phone, browse net in my phone.
pray.. imagine what happened in my life in the next 10 years.. plan my activities for the next hour and the folloowing days.. reminince the sweet moments of my past lovelife and my student life..
im used to travelling for long hours and i think its one of the good moment for one person to reflect on everything he experienced. and to thank God for those experiences (either good or bad) coz for sure it helped you a lot for becoming who you are today..

I have a very good cellphone now, so I don't think I will ever feel bored if I am traveling alone in a bus for a long time. I can play with the cellphone games. Or I can watch movies via it. I can read the books from it. I can even turn on the GPS to see where I am. The technology brings us more fun.

Since I am one of those who likes reading I usually bring with me a book whenever I travel alone by bus. I just read although the trip until i get sleep from reading. But I take time to watch the scenery around me from time to time when I travel. Especially if it is the first time for me to go to that place I take time to look around. Have a great day!!!

Aside from being polite and exchanging some polite conversation, I don't really like to talk with strangers. So I hope the person sitting next to me isn't talkative. I'd prefer to daydream or just sleep through the whole journey.

I like to read, to writes notes, to look at the view of the places i passed by. Most of the time i have a book ready in my hand while i travel for about 2 to 4 hours. Sometimes i just close my eyes and think of good things i want to happen in my life like being with my boyfriend, having a peaceful picnic at the park, thinking of dreams to happen, meditate and relax.
Happy mylotting and smile always!

I am sorry that you do not like reading on a bus, I couldn't sit for that long without a book. Have you thought of knitting? or anyother type of thing like it to keep your hands busy?

in the situation you described above, i would try to sleep lol. or text on my phone, if i wanted to talk and nobody beside me wanted to either...granted i got service lol. i don't like to read in motion anyway. it usually makes me carsick. :S if texting and sleeping were out, i'd use the time just to think.

I didnt want to text anyone at that time.Luckily,I sat in the front of the bus so I enjoyed the broadest view.

In my case, I always travel with my family. I make travel time, our bonding time as well. Surely, sometime during the trip, my kid will fall asleep. Those will be my time to chat with my husband. We talk about everything under the sun. You see, we are both working and it's the best time to cope up on just about anything.
