I am actually quite glad about Kuyt as well. He is one of the hardest working players in our team. Compare him to Ronaldo for instance not so gifted in the skill department but will chase lost balls and will track back making it a lot harder for opposition players to cross the ball. He has also scored a number of important goals. He performs a great deal better than Babel who has been a real disappointment.

Gerrard, Kuyt, and Benitez, all good news for the stability of the club. I know Kuyt has some critics, but there's not many around whose workrate matches his and he quite recently Benitez was slated for leaving him out of the line up. .Also look at his current international form, he does score goals.
