I get so annoyed with miss calls on phones..

This is so much annoying that people would give a very small bell and then cut it so u know someone called and now it is your turn to call since you didnt pick it up. This way they force you to spend money while they have to talk to you. Even when call rates have gone so down people are still so miser to a point that it feels bad calling them back even and if you dont call back these people would give a small ring again so u know he is waiting for your call.

i had that too last week,miss called and not my friends and she cant believe that she dialed a wrong number.

what do you mean by a miss call, he deliberately waits to you are not home to call, or it was a legitimate call and you didn't answer, that does make a difference. If you don't want to call him just tell him it is long distance and you can't afford it. all my friends know that I cannot afford long distance calls.

What an inconsiderate person! I would not ever return his calls and when he asks why you did not call back tell him (as savypat suggested) that you can't afford to call back as a lot of people are purposely leaving missed calls on your phone so you are the one that has to make the call! If he doesn't get it just keep on ignoring his calls, he'll get the message eventually!

yeah well, it happens , but if it was done by one of my friends then i don't mind cause I do the same to them sometimes, so I call them back . but if someone who's not my friend then I wouldn't call back and when I meet him/her I'd smile and say "so, you wanted me to call you?" or I thought you changed your mind and didn't want to talk to me. or I was gonna but I got busy . or you can just ask that person if you wanted to talk to me why didn't you call? That is indeed annoying! Good thing it has not happened to me yet from my acquaintances. Although I would received some missed calls from unknown numbers. I simply ignore them.

Time for plain talk, next time this happens and he gets after you for not calling back just say I couldn't afford it the budget was just to tight.
