If there was only one currency in the whole world what would it be?

I am having a question in mind..If in this world their was only one currency what would it have been?? Dollar,Pound,Euro,Rupee,Peso,Yen or something else?? Please tell me your views and the reason for choosing a specific currency....

Well, I suppose that it might be the dollar or the euro. Though, if the world only had one currency, wouldn't have been called something else?
