Whistling, as long as there is a tune of some sort involved, doesn't bother me at all. People who walk around whistling one note over and over and over drive me nutz! I actually like whistling, it's a happy sound most of the time.

that would be odd if they only used one note!

It happens all the time. What really bothers me is that they whistle that one note to the beat of whatever song is in their head, and I can almost identify the song...but not quite.

I like to hear people whistling if it is in tune. I was thinking only a few days ago that you don't hear people whistling very often these days. Delivery people, window cleaners and generally people working outside used to whistle while they worked, and I think it sounds cheerful.

Yeah it dose bug me sometimes when it's out of tune or the person is doing to loudly . But I don't mind when an much older person dose it. For some reason it should nice when they do it. Just like your kind grandad would LOL

I will admit that at times it really does annoy me. I won't typically say anything to the person about it though. I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and often my kids make some of the weirdest and most annoying sounds! lol I usually keep my mouth shut though and eventually the noise will stop.
