I love anything by Dean Koontz. I have read all of his books. If I can't buy it right away I go to the library to check it out to read. What about you? Any favorites that I might get interested in?

Yes, I have read some of those. Do you like Lavyrle Spencer? She has some good romance books. I don't think she is still writing though. I haven't seen a new one for several years.

I don't really have one favorite author. It is hard for me to like pick just one author that I love over the rest. I enjoy Sherrilyn Kenyon who writes paranormal romances which I have gotten into lately because of her. I also like Ted Dekker who writes spiritual thrillers as does Frank Peretti.

Dean Koontz is my favorite author too. I love to read all of his books. I wrote to him, and he was kind enough to send me a personally autographed picture of himself and his dog Trixie. I have the picture framed. We need more authors like Dean Koontz to write good exciting books.

I'm a big fan of Mitch Albom. I've read all his books and Tuesdays with Morrie is his book that made me cry. I even attended his book launching One More Day here in San Francisco, I was really happy to meet him. =)

Hi JABeau, I have a number of favorites like Jeffrey Deaver, Anne Perry, Ruth Rendell, Ed McBain, Colin Dexter and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes). When I go to a bookstore or sale, I would hunt for their books first, before looking through others.

Oooh I am quite a fan of Dean Koontz, I have not read many of his books lately but I absolutely loved the Odd Thomas series :) I love too many authors to really pick a favourite, but up there would probably be Kelley Armstrong, Emily Bronte, J.K Rowling, Jonathan Kellerman, Trudi Canavan and so many others to be honest.. None of those are quite like Koontz admittedly, but even still they are good authors..

I have several authors that I really like, but I think that my favorite would have to be Adriana Trigiani. She wrote a book called " Big Stone Gap" and I could relate to it as it was written about an area where my dad lived. It was a good story and she is a good author.

Well, I have two favorite authors, Sidney Sheldon and Isaac Asimov. Both of them write wonderfully. You must read "If tomorrow comes" by Sidney Sheldon. You would simply become a fan of him. Isaac Asimov writes on science fiction and I love his novels specially the robot series. Unfortunately, I have read only a few of them.

Dean Koontz is a great author, but my favorite would have to be James Patterson. I've read every one of his books and can't get enough. If you want to get into a great series, read the Alex Cross series by James Patterson. If you have ever seen the movies Along Came a Spider and Kiss the Girls, those movies are based on his first two books of the series (the movies do no justice to the books, I urge you not to see them lol) He is a fabulous author and really keeps you interested in the books. :)
