Well I probally would put most of it in the bank. Since thats the best way to save money and earn money. Also I might invest it in a few stocks. With stocks so low this might be a good time to invest in stocks. Because they will go back up again and you can make some pretty good money. Now thats how I would invest in 50 thousand dollars.

The first thing I would do with $50k would be to pay off some debt, but if I were debt free, and I had $50K, I would probably put most of it in CD's at a bank. That is surely not the highest earning place to put it, but with the way the economy is right now, that would be about the safest place to put it. I was talking to one of my customers at work a few nights ago, and he told me that he has lost $25K in the stock market. He is now pretty much broke, and is looking for a second job. The stock market is probably the last place I would be thinking about investing right now. Your best bet would probably be CD's or a high-yield money-market account for right now.

If I had 50k, I would take 10k and put it aside for my son for when he gets older. I would save that for his college, if he decides to go to college. Then I would take 20k and invest in bank cds. Granted cds do not make much intrest, but it would be a back up. The other 30k...well I would take 10k and buy a better vehicle. The other 20k well I would prolly invest in some stock and bonds depending on the stock market. Otherwise I would take the 20k and invest in something that I would know would do good in the long run. I would prolly end up going back to college and finishing my schooling and then opening up my own accounting business with my other 2 accountant friends

I am wishing I could have the same amount as well, since I wanted to engage into long desired business I wanted, its a photocopier shop with some graphics acceptance sort of thing, or perhaps a photo printing thing. I hope I would be able to realize this in a short time.
