Guilty... There are times when I just can't find the energy to do something at the moment which I know may be done later. I'd like to say that I'm a my-pace sort of person.

Unless there are deadlines to be met, am I right? How do you jolt yourself into doing something really important that you don't feel like doing yet, though, if ever? Thanks for your contribution and Happy myLotting, nekonyanta!

Like what, for example? Did it do the trick for you? No relapse? Stay positive and Happy myLotting, seniorita_lia!

Being concious of a bad habit is half the battle won. You know your weak points and then you should take it one step at a time, slowly working on a small guilt and working towards the bigger ones. One needs to have a lot of will power and determination to overcome a bad habit, for they are easier to form and hard to break. I suppose one needs a lot of encouragement also to b reak a bad habit. When somebody keeps reminding us of a bad habit, just so that we can work upon it, we also tend to lose our temper. So, that part must be controlled by us, or nobody will ever try and help you. Guess thats it !

Guilty at times especially when I am so much tired of boggling many tasks in my hand, what rest in my mind for the other tasks to be done, be started in the next day. Usually ended with nothing been done unless pressured, lol. Its a habit that I wanted to overcome.

Your situation is pretty much understandable, given the amount of work you have to juggle, torchablazed. If I may clarify, did you really want to say "boggling" or blogging? Thanks and Happy myLotting!

So many times I experienced when I waited it to be done the next day, either I was very much pressured in doing or got no chance of doing it at all as I thought would be. I see to it now, that even late at night I'll do things set to be done and no longer wait for tomorrow. As when tomorrow comes there are new things to be done and time sees to be not enough to accomplish all.

sometimes when I have a lot of things to be done in a day. you can change this by time management and setting your priorities.

I used to practice the mañana habit way back when I was much younger, but I have completely overcome it...in other words, now that I have lots of responsibilities, I don't procastinate anymore...I do my work and complete them on time, even if it means sleeping in wee hours in the evening. It's a bad habit, and I was able to kick it. It's just a matter of conviction really. Of course, I understand that young people these days are yet immature and have the tendency to put off unpleasant tasks, which is understandable...but once you carry on lots of responsibilities, it's no longer acceptable to procastinate because sometimes your entire career and future depends on what you do and do not do....

Guilty as charged... It's hard to break a habit you have quite grown too accustomed to it... If I were to change it I'd just starting do things right now... Better time management and motivation should get me started...

Does this mean putting off for tomorrow, what should be done today? If so I'm guilty as well. I don't know how to change it, it just seems like I'm always trying to play catch up now days, so its hard to get ahead.

Hello acmepride! Manyana habit is one of the weaknesses of the Filipinos. I even admit that I am guilty of doing it. In our school (everytime we have projects), I usually make it a day before the deadline. I always delay my works especially if the deadline is still away. Even when studying I always said "mamaya na" or I'll do it later.

Hi good day to you. Well, regarding to your forum topic discussion entitled "manyana". This is my response, We all know that this habbit is really not good which sometimes it causes for us to do not work in the right time forthe reason we are lazy at that time and we only just say "don't worry, i will do that later or tomorrow. I think in our population here in our country are 65 percent expericing this kind of bad habbit, which is one cause for our country to be fallen together with our economy rate. If people will go lazy, then the work will be stop, which if there is no work, o increase in our economy and besides sometimes it decreases. In everyday life of people due to over work and unproper rest. It causes for the to feel this kind of habbit. I cay say that sometimes, i really feel this kind of habbit which causes for me to not work, just like other people. I really want to removed this kind of habbit due to the bad effect that it give. How i wish in this coming day of my birth day, it will be removed, so in my everyday life i will no longer feel lazy and i can do my work very easily. Well, i think it is very hard to removed because it is rushing to our bloodline because honestly speaking in our history this habbit is come from India, and as Filipino we only adopt this kind of attitude. As i know, other country also experience this kind of habbit to their people, which they really alro finding ways to remove this kind of feeling. Well, that's all my response with this forum topic discussion entitled "Manyana". That's all, happy posting and happy earning here in this site to us. I hope i give a good response! Thank you!
