I work at a tea bar that my friends opened in Center City Philadelphia, PA. It's a great place with over 60 different kinds of loose leaf tea. Since they opened, I've discovered how amazing the health benefits are for different kinds of tea (white, green, oolong, black, helbal (rooibos, mate, tisane, etc.). I drink tea every day and I feel like I'm never really sick anymore. Has anyone else taken on a diet like this? I try to drink a cup of each kind of tea a day, as some of the properties are lowering cholesterol, boosting metabolism, anti-aging, anti-carcinogen (anti-cancer), healthy skin, clear complexion, balanced mood, relaxation, energy, strong teeth and bones, and a host of other amazing things! Has anyone drank any particular tea and discovered a little-known health benefit? Has anyone got any advice on how to stay as healthy as possible aside from the obvious "eat right and exercise" or "everything in moderation" (both of those phrases do work, by the way). Any insight would be appreciated!

Keep up with that tea habit! I hear that green tea is one of the best for you - it's known for speeding up your metabolism and supplying you with antioxidants. I probably only drink it about once a week, but I plan on doing it more often! When I get around to it. lol. .
Another random little health tip: make sure you take a multi-vitmain every day! This is really important - because most people don't get enough of the nutrients they need just from what foods they eat - so it's important to get a good vitamin to take. I've heard good things about the ones GNC sells.
Good luck, and welcome to myLot by the way!

In my husband's country they drink tea all the time. When someone comes over, they automatically start a pot without asking. Then you have to have 3 cups of it. They make Green tea with mint. It is so good. They have it with every meal, any social interaction and with business. My husband is always making it and his is so good.
