I don't care to try new foods. I like to stick with the foods I am used to. My Mom on the other hand will try anything at least once.

It is not the taste I have a problem with..actually it is a mind over matter thing except for the seafood and fish and organ meats...I have ate deer...it tasted fine. but if I think about my food. I then have a problem eating it..for years I was a vegetable eater, not even eggs..cause of me thinking of the animals therefore I wouldn't be able to eat them, since I moved off a farm it has became easier..but still have a problem with the other meats.

I am like your aunt.I eat foods that I know I like. I rarely try anything new. I wil try a variation , like a different pizza, but nothing completey new.Food is too important to waste.I rather spend the money to get something iI Know I will like.

It would be wasted because if I don't like it, I wouldn't eat it.then I would have to buy something else to eat.

I'll try nearly anything once, too...and I do it a ton more often than anyone else in my family will. It's why they always groan when it's my night to cook, they know by the gleam in my eye that I want to make up the meal from random ideas in my head. xD

i am always looking for something different, I will try almost anything, well almost, I look on the internet at the cooking places and look for different foods and different cultures of food. It gets boring eating the same thing all the time.

I need encouragement to try new and different foods. I'm such a wuss! LOL! I'm better off not knowing what something is before I try it too.
I know I can't handle spicy foods much... both from the burning sensations in the mouth, to the burning sensations of the aftermath. For me... it's totally NOT worth it.

I am a cautiously adventurous eater, lol. Depending on the ingredients I will try almost any non-meat dish. I don't do peppers of any kind and some spices like clove are just too overwhelming. I like simple food that tastes good and I eat a lot of Asian foods.

I'm the type of person that will try anything once. What's the fun with food if you don't at least try it to see if you like it. I have learned from this that I like things that I wouldn't have even looked at when I was a kid. My kids are like night and day. One will at least take a small taste to see if she likes it. Now my youngest is so picky it's not even funny. None of her food can have anything on it, and she will only eat things she likes. Before even looking at it, she will automatically say I don't want to eat it. Maybe one day she will want to taste new things.

Hi.
I love trying new things and food is no exception of it. At times I do get into some kind of situation because of it specially where a single bite or sip of the thing you are trying is unbearable, but then most of the times it pays off.

I loved to eat. I often thinks of some new foods to eat when I am hungry. But I usually eat anything that fits my taste buds. Anything sweet and yummy will probably make my day complete, I am spending a lot of money more on foods than anything else..well, that's the most important our physiologic needs that will satisfy us before anything else in this work. Eating new foods is unique to me, it's like from day to day I am discovering a lot of foods...
