why is my uverse cable SKIPPING?!?

my mom just got that at&t bundle called "uverse"...
can anyone tell me why it's a piece of crap please??
not all the time, but enough, when we watch it it'll just start skipping. it's really irritating me, nobody has any good advice so i'm relying on what you know guys

A little late but I have U-verse and once in awhile it will skip but what I do that seems to work is pause it wait like 10 seconds and un-pause it and it seems not to skip but in order to do that you have to have the DVR Combo. Also make sure you turn off anything that uses internet resourses such as computers, other t.v's, ot gaming systems because they draw resources but because U-verse is IPTV (Internet Protocol TV)
Other than that all I can say is try giving U-verse a Call Remember they are a fairly new service.
